To Witness

Fluttering drapery
on lilies,
paired visions
like stained glass
inviting our gaze
into their wing'd journey.
A journey to continue
long past our trespass
into their silken threads
of being.
Long past
our transformation
of witness
to what will be.
Past our season's growth,
to enter the cocoon of winter
again, to witness
anew.
